During the prep process you need to look out for pin holes, high spots or any damage that may have occurred during transit.

As the regula tuning kit has a lot of fine line details it's important to pay Particular attention to these areas as they will take time to get right.

You may also need to make slight changes to improve gap spacing. We only noticed this issue with the side skirts. The picture to the left shows how we extended the side skirt height to reduce the gap.

The kit we received had damage to basically all the inside corners of both front and rear bumper bars.

The picture to the right is just an example of one corner that was fixed.

All clean up and repair work (non-structural) was completed using a non-shrinking fiberglass compatible body filler.

The picture to the left shows the front bumper with the bulk to the clean up work done.

You will find that you spend most of your time removing the high spots along the inside edge. We recommend that you take your time and the end result will be well worth it.

Also don't forget to pre drill the holes for the licence plate.

Next we package up the body kit and bonnet to send to the paint shop.....

About a week later the paint work is complete.
